FURTHER ACTION

Dear Farrell,

Downing Street, S.V.1. 31st December, 1940.

Here is a copy of the telegram from Hong Kong about the requisitioning of Chinese Custans vessels.

You said you would be

sending me a copy of the Admiralty telegram No. 0416/18 which apparently deals with the requisitioning of certain vessels in Hong Kong. When we have seen that telegram and any previous related correspondence on the subject, we will write to you again about the point made by the Governor of Hong Kong.

I am sending a copy of

this letter and enclosure to

Dickinson at the Ministry of Shipping

Yours sincerely,

T.W. FARRELL, ESQ.
